Sovcomflot Links to Port De Kastri

JSC Sovcomflot committed the shipments of hydrocarbon fuel, produced at Sakhalin shelf, reports Kommersant.
2 November giant tanker "Viktor Konetsky" began loading of oil at the port of De Kastri in Khabarovsky region, which commenced the productions of hydrocarbons in the Okhotskoye Sea Chaivo oilfield from the middle of October.

S. Korean convicted of currency smuggling in Sakhalin

A court in Russia's Far East has convicted a South Korean citizen of currency smuggling, the local prosecutor's office said Wednesday.
Upon arriving at the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport from Seoul, the Korean failed to declare about $50,000 dollars, which he intended to pass over to a fellow compatriot working at a Sakhalin company, the office said.
