Russia’s lost revenue in Sakhalin-2 to total $10 bln

Russia's lost revenue in the Sakhalin-2 project will total $10 billion, Russian environmental watchdog (Rosprirodnadzor) head Oleg Mitvol told journalists on Tuesday.

"Our lost revenue will stand at $10 billion. The most interesting thing is that this figure has been released by the project's operator itself," he said.

Steps to calculate Russia's damage in the project will take six months, after which damage claims will be filed with Russian and international courts, Mitvol said.

Russia will invite foreign specialists to value the losses, he added.
