Gazprom’s next dispute target is Exxon Mobil

Exxon Mobil Corp. has become the latest western oil and gas company to become embroiled in Russia's attempt to curtail foreign control of its energy assets, according to The Daily Telegraph on Thursday. State-run gas company OAO Gazprom, wants to halt an Exxon-led project from supplying China, in a move that echoes attempts to restrict the operations of Royal Dutch Shell PLC and BP PLC.

Exxon, the world's largest oil and gas company, run by chief executive Rex Tillerson, said that it was in talks with Gazprom, according to the newspaper. "The purpose of the discussions is to find a mutually acceptable option for the parties involved," Exxon said, according to the newspaper.

The U.S. company and its partner, Neftegas, have a deal with the China National Petroleum Corporation to supply gas from its Sakhalin-1 project in far east Russia, according to the newspaper.

But Gazprom's deputy chief executive, Alexander Ananenkov, said Exxon's supply deal, which he claimed was to export 80 billion cubic meters of gas a year, would leave Russia short, according to The Daily Telegraph.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I set up a sea shell and gave it to my 4 day old daughter and understood “You can find out the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. At hand was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never needs to get back! LoL I identify this is perfectly sour focus but I had to know someone!
